In a swift move to address user privacy concerns, Partiful, a burgeoning event planning startup that has attracted more than 7 million in investment from notable firms such as Andreessen Horowitz, rectified a significant oversight in its photo handling process. It was discovered that the company was not removing detailed location data from user-uploaded photos, potentially exposing personal information about users' whereabouts.
