Tourmanagement.com, a Belgian SaaS platform specializing in artist and tour management, has acquired Beatswitch, an established software platform for festival and event organizer workflows. Tourmanagement.com, a leading Belgian platform serving artists and music professionals, has acquired Beatswitch, the widely used software for live event production management. The deal, whose financial details remain undisclosed, brings Beatswitch’s platform and client base under the Tourmanagement.com umbrella, with an eye toward simplifying workflows across the live music industry.

The integration seeks to tackle persistent challenges in live event organization, where administrative tasks and artist advancing—the process of coordinating logistics such as set times, transport, and technical requirements—are often fragmented across disparate email threads, spreadsheets, and messaging apps. By uniting festival organizers and artists on a shared digital system, the companies hope to reduce duplicated efforts, improve coordination, and enhance data consistency.

Beatswitch has become a trusted solution among festivals and event organisers globally, supporting coordination for major European events such as Pukkelpop (Belgium), Shambhala (Canada), Sziget (Hungary), and Pitch Music & Arts (Australia). Its platform allows organizers to manage hospitality, accommodation, technical needs, and artist communications in a centralised way.

Tourmanagement.com, operated by Leuven-based Tourmanagement BV, provides parallel services tailored to the needs of artists, agencies, management firms, and production crews. It offers centralised scheduling, tour planning, and communications, serving more than 400 customers and some 10,000 users globally as of 2026. The company’s focus is on minimising operational risk through digital transformation and robust data management.

Roeland Veugelen, Tourmanagement.com’s founder and CEO, emphasized that the acquisition aims to address inefficiencies long recognized within the sector. "Advancing work remains scattered and manual for many teams, which increases both duplicated effort and the risk of costly miscommunication. Aligning festival and artist workflows is an opportunity to make the space more professional and data-driven," Veugelen noted.

For current Beatswitch users, no immediate changes are expected; the platform will continue operations uninterrupted. Beatswitch founder Thomas Van Orshaegen voiced support for the transaction, noting that it would allow the platform to continue evolving within a larger ecosystem. Van Orshaegen will stay on as a member of the advisory board for both platforms, ensuring continuity and product expertise.

Looking ahead, Tourmanagement.com said it will evaluate how the two platforms can be brought closer together, stressing a gradual approach with a commitment to ongoing development for both products and a strong focus on customer continuity.

This acquisition highlights an ongoing trend of digital consolidation and workflow automation in the European live events industry. As events recover post-pandemic and scale up, unified digital infrastructures are becoming vital for efficiency and reliability.
