Bracket, a London-based financial technology company focused on treasury and cash management, has secured $7 million in seed funding to further develop its AI-enabled platform for mid-market businesses.

The funding round was led by Macquarie Group’s Commodities and Global Markets unit and Blackfinch Ventures, with continued support from existing investor Failup Ventures. The new investment will support Bracket’s product development efforts and enable expansion into European and Australian markets.

Many mid-sized businesses still rely on spreadsheets and largely manual processes to manage foreign exchange (FX) exposure, maintain cash visibility, and coordinate bank connectivity. As a result, there is growing demand for integrated and automated solutions that can improve efficiency and reduce operational risks.

Bracket, founded in 2024 by industry veterans Alex Charles, Pierre Anderson, and Martin Lee, addresses these needs with a platform that uses artificial intelligence to centralise bank accounts, automate FX-related workflows, and provide finance teams with real-time insights. By reducing reliance on manual processes, Bracket aims to help companies gain greater visibility and control over their treasury operations.

Beyond serving corporate clients directly, Bracket operates a banking distribution model, licensing its platform to financial institutions that want to offer advanced treasury tools to their own mid-market customers.

Pierre Anderson, Co-CEO and Co-founder, highlighted that mid-market companies often face pressure to meet the same regulatory and operational standards as large corporations but typically lack access to equivalent tools. Bracket’s AI-powered system is designed to bridge this gap by automating key treasury operations and consolidating financial data in a single interface.

The latest investment round will enable Bracket to continue developing its technology and scale its team, alongside opening new offices in Europe and Australia over the next year.
