Interloom Secures $16.5M to Advance AI Memory for Enterprise Operations
Interloom has raised $16.5 million in seed funding to enhance its enterprise operations platform, which enables AI agents to leverage accumulated company knowledge for improved automation. The new investment will support the development of Interloom's persistent memory layer tailored for enterprise AI.
Interloom, an enterprise operations platform specializing in knowledge management for artificial intelligence (AI), has closed a $16.5 million seed funding round. The investment was led by DN Capital and joined by Bek Ventures, as well as existing investor Air Street Capital.
The company addresses a significant barrier in enterprise adoption of AI: the challenge of ensuring AI systems have access to context-specific, operational expertise. While AI agents can process and analyze data, much of the daily work performed within organizations is undocumented and thus inaccessible to these systems. Interloom’s platform aims to fill this gap by capturing expert knowledge from real-world workflows, transforming it into a persistent memory that benefits both human employees and AI agents.
Founder and CEO Fabian Jakobi explained that as AI agents expand into operational roles, their effectiveness is often curtailed by the lack of access to internally held company knowledge. "We ground their decisions in successful resolutions from the past, ensuring their work is guided by real operational experience and governed through expert oversight, creating a memory that stays with the company," Jakobi said.
Interloom’s solution revolves around a continuously evolving "context graph"—a dynamic structure that stores decisions and outcomes from previous work scenarios. This enables AI agents to move beyond static documentation and instead operate with reference to accumulated organizational experience, addressing issues like knowledge loss due to staff turnover and improving the automation of complex business processes.
The platform is designed to support both employees and AI tools alike, ensuring that valuable operational knowledge remains accessible and actionable. By bridging the gap between documented procedures and the lived experience of an organization, Interloom’s approach has the potential to accelerate the deployment and accuracy of AI-driven automation within enterprises.
The newly secured funding will be used to further develop Interloom's memory layer technology and expand its capabilities in enterprise AI and workflow automation.
