Valve Targets Entry-Level PC Pricing for New Steam Machine
Valve has introduced the Steam Machine, aiming for pricing competitive with entry-level PCs and offering enhanced hardware over the Steam Deck. Hardware constraints and AI-driven demand for PC components are influencing pricing, with launch expected in the first half of 2026. The Steam Machine will run SteamOS with expanded compatibility features and supports both Linux and Windows games via Proton.
