Capcom has addressed the negative fan response to the AI-generated version of character Grace Ashcroft in Resident Evil Requiem, showcased by Nvidia's DLSS 5 technology. Producer Masato Kumazawa emphasized that the backlash reflects the popularity of Grace's original design, and the company does not plan to use generative AI to alter the character moving forward.
