Three MIT Students Named 2026 Goldwater Scholars for Research Excellence
Three MIT undergraduates have been awarded the 2026 Barry Goldwater Scholarship, a leading recognition for students pursuing research careers in science, engineering, and mathematics. Recipients Deeksha Kumaresh, Anna Liu, and Charlotte Myers were selected from a pool of approximately 5,000 nominees nationwide. The scholars are recognized for work in bioengineering, chemistry, and the application of machine learning in physics.
